Mthatha born, Anele Lulu Ludidi, was once an armed robber and fraudster, as difficult it is to believe. One might ask, what would push a pretty faced girl into the never-ending pit of armed robbery and fraud? Was it poverty, an effort to fit in or was it a myriad of reasons that need an understanding ear to hear. The reasons are numerous and different from person to person but whatever the reason, it's never reason enough to risk one's life. Lulu's story is a message of hope to the all the youth out there. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
I used to work at a law-firm, a complete cover up of my real identity. In the year 2010, in my 2nd year in university, I became a member of two gangs. The one were car snatchers and the others were involved in credit card fraud. A friend of mine trained me as a chauffeur which basically meant dropping off the rest of the gang when they were operating. The other gang was the card-division. We designed devices (for ATMs) that could download the card-holder's information from their car before we later drew all the victim's money out without trace, much later on.
My mother invited me to Jesus Dominion International in February 2012. At that time my colleagues were arrested for a period of three months. That is when I decided to be a full-time member of the ministry. I escaped conviction of several crimes that I had also partaken in, by the grace of God. I say by His grace because for a reason unknown to me my face did not appear in any of the ATM CCTV footage that the police had, only my friends. I saw then that the power of God was in operation and that I was not in the ministry by co-incidence.
In June 2013 I broke all ties with the criminal world and relocated to Durban to serve in the ministry. The impact that the man of God has had on me is too great to summarise in the words of men. Through his teachings I have learnt that whatever I want to acquire is possible with God. Dubious means of wealth lead to death, Christ is "the way, the truth, and the life:...(John 14:6 KJV)."
The man of God has really helped me to repent, discover myself, build my self-esteem, to understand the true meaning of life and how to carry myself as a woman and child of God. I thank God for the love that He has shown me and is still showing me and for sparing my life from death even when I did not know Him. My feet were ordained by God to the ministry to meet his son, Rev. Tim Omotoso. Glory be to God in the Highest!
